Focus

Classical studies—beginner to advanced level, all ages.  The fundamentals of playing to instill a love of music for years to come. School-band/Regionals/All-State/College audition preparation or discovering the clarinet just for fun.

PHILOSOPHY

Breathing, tone, technique, rhythm, and basic musicianship are the five tenets for good wind playing. We work on all of these aspects at the individual student's pace within the scope of what they're interested in, what goals they have, and what really gets them excited about music and their instrument. There is something to be gained in every lesson, and the confidence students gain through learning a musical instrument helps them blossom in every part of their lives.

SCHEDULING

Flexible scheduling- weekdays and weekends. I know that in this day/age families and individuals have hectic, full schedules.  I work with you to find days/times that are convenient. I also offer virtual clarinet lessons via zoom or facetime.
